Halswell Bakery was established in 2014 by the Buckley family. While this is a new venture for the experienced family, they are, by no means new to the industry. As experienced bakery and business owners - Pete, Ruth and their three children, Danielle, Jared and Jack all work within the business bringing that family style and feel to the Halswell Bakery. Ruth says “the children cut their teeth in the business”.
Halswell Bakery prides itself on their products and goodies being “hand-crafted with love” something that shows both in their longevity in the industry and the delicious baked goods that they sell. Their shop is located in the New World Shopping Complex on Halswell Road and they offer barista made coffee and a small café style area for those not wanting to wait to devour the yummy treats. Handmade pies, filled rolls, slices, cakes and take-home goods are all available in store. They offer speciality services as well, birthday cakes, special occasion cakes, catering for morning tea and lunches, talk to them for your next event.
Ruth, Pete and their staff are committed to offering friendly and often entertaining customer service every day, bringing the local community and beyond a great place to enjoy delicious food and coffee.
